October 27 Devotional Meditation

By Dr Patrick Elijah Anyomi

Key Text:

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." - 2 Corinthians 5:21

Devotional Meditation:

Hallelujah! Saints of God, let this glorious truth explode in your spirit today! At the very heart of the Gospel is a divine exchange so profound, so miraculous, that it shatters every religious system and silences every accuser! God the Father took our filthy, wretched, rebellious sin and placed it entirely upon His perfect, spotless, holy Son. And in return, He took the perfect, spotless, holy righteousness of His Son and placed it entirely upon us!

This is not a theological theory—this is your present reality if you are in Christ! When God looks at you, He doesn't see your failures, your shortcomings, or your past. He sees the perfect righteousness of Jesus! You haven't just been forgiven—you've been made righteous! The word "become" is in the aorist tense in Greek, meaning a completed, permanent action! It's a done deal! You ARE the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

This is the foundation for all miracles, all answered prayers, and all supernatural living! You don't approach God based on your performance, but on Christ's perfection! You don't beg for healing—you receive it as a righteous child! You don't hope for breakthrough—you declare it from a position of righteousness! The enemy's accusations are empty because your record is clean! Your standing with God is as perfect as Jesus' standing, because you are IN HIM!

Prayer of Righteous Identity:

Heavenly Father! We stand in awe of the great exchange of Calvary!

· We thank You that Jesus became our sin so we could become Your righteousness!

· We receive by faith our new identity as the righteousness of God in Christ!

· We renounce all self-righteousness and religious performance!

· We silence every accusing voice with the blood of Jesus and our righteous standing!

· We approach Your throne with boldness and confidence as righteous children!

Thank You, Jesus, for Your finished work! We are no longer sinners trying to become righteous—we are the righteous who sometimes sin! Our identity is secure in You!
In Your mighty name, Amen!

Declaration of Faith:

"I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! My sins are forgiven, my record is clean, my standing is secure! I approach God with boldness and receive all His promises as a righteous heir! My identity is in Christ, not in my performance! I am holy, blameless, and beyond reproach in His sight!"
