Solemn Assembly Day 14: Fasting for Favor and Deliverance

"Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish." — Esther 4:16
Devotional Meditation:
A divine moment of destiny has arrived! Queen Esther stands at the crossroads between life and death, not just for herself but for an entire nation. The enemy has set his trap, the decree of destruction has been signed, and natural circumstances scream "IMPOSSIBLE!" But Esther recognizes the supernatural power available through corporate fasting!
She issues a radical call to complete abstinence—no food, no water, for three full days—knowing that only heaven's intervention can change earth's verdict!
This is fasting that shifts kingdoms! This is prayer that alters destinies! When God's people unite in desperate consecration, we create a spiritual climate where impossible doors swing open and unprecedented favor is released! Esther's fast wasn't about manipulating God—it was about positioning herself and her people for divine breakthrough!
They were emptying themselves physically to become full of spiritual authority! Their natural hunger created spiritual capacity for supernatural intervention!
As we continue our solemn assembly, recognize that your fasting is not in vain!
You are positioning yourself for royal favor in impossible situations! You are preparing for divine appointments that defy natural laws! Your consecration is activating heavenly strategies that will confuse the enemy and release deliverance for multitudes! The same God who gave Esther favor before the king is ready to grant you supernatural favor in your hour of need!
Prayer for Supernatural Favor:
King of Kings! We stand with Esther in this moment of destiny!
· We unite in corporate fasting for breakthrough and deliverance!
· We empty ourselves physically to be filled with spiritual authority!
· We position ourselves for supernatural favor in impossible situations!
· We break every decree of destruction issued against our lives and destinies!
· We receive divine strategies to overcome the enemy's schemes!
Holy Spirit! Anoint us with royal favor! Open doors no man can shut! Grant us wisdom to speak life in the throne rooms of influence! Let our fasting catch heaven's attention and release earth-shaking deliverance! Prepare us for our divine "such a time as this" moment! In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
